NEW GROUP OPENING



Our club is expanding!

 

Currently we are opening  the group for 6-7 years old kids.

 

The program will be based on developing such skills as to analyse, synthesize, compare, discuss, make inferences, to map, measure, combine, group, remember, reason and explain actions.

Maths Fun for little ones!

 

Kids of 2 to 4 years old are welcome to our club.

 

Our teachers play, dance, sing and teach your kids how to enjoy maths!

 

 

What IGRAMATICA is all about?

 

Here in our Club we believe that all kids are already mathematicians. Every child has a huge imagination. He or she is full of energy and enthusiasm. They are persistent, fascinated with strange outcomes, and are out to explore the “what-if” scenarios. There are always small and fascinating mathematical models in their pretty heads. And these are the qualities of good mathematicians!

 

As for maths itself, it is one of the most adventurous and exiting science a young child can experience. Maths can be surprising, exotic, unpredictable, breathtaking adventure that will take your child to the completely new level of thinking. If right presented, maths can open new horizons to your child.

 

Unfortunately most of the time maths is not presented this way. Indeed, children are required to develop their mathematical skills rather than being encouraged to work on mathematical state of mind or mathematical way of thinking.

 

More often children are introduced to the maths, starting with counting, shapes, and simple patterns. In the process, everything else mathematical stays behind “for when the kids are ready.” For the most kids, that readiness never comes. Their maths stays simplified and limited. The excitement of an adventure is replaced by the tedious and scrupulous work. As a result children consider maths as something terribly difficult and scary.

 

What exactly happens with early maths is that children learn primitive, simplistic maths which can be boring not only to children, but to adults as well.

 

We offer your children another way of thinking about maths. We want to create rich, multi-sensory, deeply mathematical experiences for young children. We can teach you how to stage exciting, meaningful and beautiful early maths experiences.

 

In our club you will learn how to make rich mathematical properties of everyday objects accessible to young children. Everything around you becomes a learning instrument, a prompt full of possibilities for maths improvisation, a conversation starter. The everyday world of children turns into a mathematical playground.

 

There are so many interesting and exciting things that you can find around yourself and turn them into the maths fun. Fractals, symmetry, recursion, combinatorics and calculus and many other mathematical things can be explained in a play way. Paint chips come in beautiful gradients, and floor tiles form tessellations. Bedtime routines turn into children’s first algorithms.

 

Noticing and exploring maths becomes a lot more interesting, even addictive. Unlike simplistic maths that quickly becomes boring, these deep experiences remain fresh, because they grow together with children’s and parents’ understanding of maths.

 

So, can maths be interesting? Absolutely! Can your children be strong at advanced maths? They are natural geniuses at some aspects of it!How can you help your child to understand, enjoy and be friends with maths?

The main goal of our Mathematical Play-based Program is to enhance children’s Five major brain abilities: attention, visual, memory, logic reasoning and processing speed and to improve Five developing areas: social communication, language, emotional quotient, cognitive development and physical development. Physical development

During lessons children are moving all the time, jumping, running, competing, and working in teams. So this can keep them interested, excited and develop physical abilities.

 

Language

In most of the games children are motivated to communicate with each other (in a role plays) and with teacher. They are taught how to ask questions and give answers correctly and how to operate with mathematical terminology.

 

Cognitive development

Cognitive development is linked to improvement of the 5 major brain abilities.

 

 

Each lesson in our Program is elaborated taking into account all these Pillars.

 

During the classes we introduce challenging materials, methods and techniques to children helping to improve all those abilities.

 

We believe when children are strong in their brain abilities and developing areas, they are confident, happy and motivated to learn. With constant support, children are motivated to make an attempt, instead of avoiding challenges and difficulties and thus to put higher goals for themselves and achieve them successfully.
